Paul & Nanny's rafting page

(updated Oct. 2009)

Since a commercial trip, we made on the Rio Grand in 1995, Nanny and I have become addicted to white water rafting. After a few commercial trips we started to make private trips with several American friends of ours. The first of those private trips was made with Bill and Ray on the Colorado near Kremmling.  Now we own our 14' Hyside oar raft, that we purchased from Ron Ferris, at River Boat Works in Salida, CO.
Rafting is not our first white water experience. For over 15 years, we kayak on small rivers in Germany and the Belgium Ardennes. However, these are class 1 to 2 at the most.
These are nice weekends to enjoy the scenery, great beer and excellent food.
